Pillows are the easiest and cheapest way to add some personality and flavor to a room. I love pillows because you can put them almost anywhere. Pillows give you a lot of decorative flexibility. Say you have an all-white couch. Take 5 of six colorful pillows and place the near the ends of the couch and voilà, you have a pop of color that changed the look of the room instantly. However you don’t want to just throw random pillows on the couch that end up clashing with each other. You want the colors to complement each other. All in all it’s about having fun and making your space a masterpiece.
Do you like Pillows? Have you ever fallen in love with a pillow like me? (haha) Leave a comment below.

I went shopping one day and I saw this pillow at Target and I immediately fell in love with it. LOLZ!

STRIPES STRIPES STRIPES! Stripes can be both a good thing and a bad thing. It's all in how you put it together. Personally I love the idea of using stripes when it comes to décor. Stripes can add a lot of variety to a space depending on the color, how thick or thin the stripes are, and what direction the stripes are facing. With stripes you can give the room a dramatic vibe, playful vibe, or a soothing/calm vibe. Stripes can unify and bring harmony to a room that seems "busy". Stripes can also give an allusion that a small room has more height and width than it already does. However try to avoid overdoing it. Below is an article and slideshow that shows 50 Do's and Dont's to follow when decorating with stripes.

Decorate With Color And Stripes: 50 Do's And Don'ts (PHOTOS)  By
When it comes to color, an easy way to get a bold look with lots of varying shades is to bring a pattern like stripes into your home. So when Kate Spade named stripes as the pattern of the month, we decided to hunt for some home decorating ideas that involve lots of color and stripes. And, well, we may have gone just a little overboard. You might be doubtful, but we ended up with fifty tips bringing color into the home with stripes. Yes, really. (Believe us, it didn't start out that way.) And the key to the power of stripes? Versatility. First off, the possibilities with color are endless with it comes to stripes. Want to add drama to a room? Bold contrasting colors, especially in wide stripes, will instantly provide an impressive backdrop. Going for a playful vibe? Multicolored thin stripes can add excitement and fun. Leaning towards something more subtle and soothing? Monochromatic stripes are perfect since they won't be too distracting. Additionally, stripes can create effective illusions that can greatly change the look and size of a space since the pattern is so directional (left-and-right or up-and-down). That said, vertical stripes on the walls, bold or subtle, will draw the eye up and visually help add height to a space, whereas horizontal stripes will force a side-to-side gaze that will widen a smaller room. Stripes can also bring harmony to an otherwise busy space. Since stripes are such a simple pattern, just parallel lines, they interact with other graphics especially well. In a room full of florals, adding a striped accent will help ground the organic lines and will pull the different prints together. Even a room full of solids can be disjointed. If you have green, pink and yellow accents, one rug with all three of these colors will immediately unify the space. And one dramatic moment of stripes is often all you need to enliven a room, which means less money spent filling the space with accessories.

Candles….I love candles. I consider candles to be included in the Décor Category because now a days, candles are beginning to look pretty cute especially when you can buy various candle holders to make them look good. There is something about a great smelling candle that can just put you in a good mood. Some scents I favor over others. I lean toward fresh floral like smells or fruity smells. One scent I am not a fan of is the Apple cinnamon smells. I don’t know why but I just dislike them. I used to burn candles all the time until I came across candle warmers. I love them because they make candles last. After you've burned candles numerous times they disappear and you have to buy another one, especially if you buy a small scented candle. Candle warmers just melt the scented wax inside the glass jar and when you turn off the candle warmer, the wax just hardens back up like it was brand new..well sorta haha. Candle warmers also eliminate the soot and burn smell that you have when you blow out a candle that you've lit. I've had a vanilla icing scented candle for a little over a year now thanks to my candle warmer!
Do you own a candle warmer? Are you crazy about candles as much as I am? Comment and.......

A simple but effective way to spice up your room, or whatever room you want is to add a pop of color by using none other than paint. es I know you probably already know that you can paint a wall..but sometimes it's not "that simple" First of all you gotta figure out what kind of paint you want. then you have to figure out the color and if you want the room to appear brighter or darker and warmer. You don't always have to paint the entire wall a solid color, you can jazz it up a bit. You can start with a white base or whatever base you want and go over it with some stencil work using a different color. You could also use painters tape and create stripes or patterns. The possibilities are endless when it comes to paint. Just have fum and get creative! That's all that matters.

I hope you liked today's post..well what do you think? Ready to get messy and start painting?? Leave a comment, tell a friend and....
